I am proud to be the headteacher of Hestia School. I am privileged to have been working at Demeter House since the opening in 2006. Recently Demeter has split into two separate schools with the upper school now being renamed as Hestia School.

Here at Hestia School we take an evidence based QOL approach to improving outcomes for our students and their families. We strive to enable our students and their families. We strive to enable our students to be happy, healthy individuals. Through the use of pupil voice students help us to support them in working towards their personal goals. Having a dedicated 1:1 Keyworker, students can build healthy relationships and have their voices heard.
At Hestia School we also think it is important to work closely with our families. Through the use of dedicated termly savings, families are able to share with us the difficulties they have supporting a child with SEND/SEMH and the impact this has on family quality of life. After analysis the survey results enable us to target specific areas for support. Ultimately we endeavour to improve the quality of life of our students and families.
