Headteacher’s Welcome

I am so proud to be the headteacher here at Hestia School. I’ve had the privilege of being part
of this community since we first opened as Demeter House back in 2006. While we have
recently grown into a separate school for our older students, we have kept that same strong
family feel and caring heart that we’ve always been known for.
At Hestia, everything we do is about helping our young people become the best versions of
themselves—confident, creative, and kind. We want to see our students truly flourish and reach
their full potential, both in their studies and in their personal lives. To us, this means looking after
the “whole person” and making sure they have the right skills to take those next big steps into
further education, training, or the workplace. We truly believe that every single child deserves
the chance to learn, grow, and succeed.

Our Motto:

“To Every Child A Chance”

We believe every child has the right to an education, the chance to improve their outcomes, to be safe, to be listened to, to be respected, to be happy.

I hope you enjoy learning more about life at Hestia School, and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you wish to find out more about our unique and welcoming school.
