Headteacher’s Welcome

I am proud to be the headteacher of Hestia School. I am privileged to have been working at Demeter House since the opening in 2006. Recently Demeter has split into two separate schools with the upper school now being renamed as Hestia School. We have a reputation of having a strong family ethos and we pride ourselves on our caring nature.

At Hestia School everything we do is centred on developing our young people to become confident, creative and caring individuals who strive to achieve excellence in everything they do, whether  academically or socially. Our aim is to enable our students to grow and flourish and achieve  their full potential. This means educating the whole person and giving them the skills to take the next steps on their journey when they leave us to go on to  further education,  training or into work. At Hestia School we believe that every child should be provided with the opportunity to learn, to develop and to succeed.

Our Motto:

“To Every Child A Chance”

We believe every child has the right to an education, the chance to improve their outcomes, to be safe, to be listened to, to be respected,to be happy

I hope you enjoy learning more about life at Hestia School, and please do not hesitate to get in touch if you wish to find out more about our unique and welcoming school.
